    PARCC Testing will begin soon.  Please make sure students are in school and on time for their testing.

  • K3+ Summer Program

    GMCS is Having their K-3 Plus Program this summer.  This is a program that is designed to give kids a jump-start for the upcoming school year.  this program is available at ALL GMCS Elementary schools.  If you have a student that will be in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade next school year,  please contact Jefferson for enrollment information or call 505-721-3000.

    Monday – Thursday: 7:30-3:00 

    Friday: 7:30-12:45  (Early release EVERY Friday!)

Message from the Principal

    Welcome to Jefferson Elementary!  I am excited for the upcoming school year.  We will again be focusing on small group instruction in reading and math to continue to improve student achievement.  As well, we are adopting a new form of parent involvement called APTT (Academic Parent Teacher Teams) meetings.  We will have 4 APTT meetings this year.    If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at jlandava@gmcs.k12.nm.us .
